Miss Maypole and the Christmas Pudding Affair

It's December 24th 1933 and tonight is the traditional Christmas Eve party which has been hosted by the Asquith-Jones family of Cerne Abbas, Dorset for at least three generations. It's a vitally important event for the family as it's the one occasion every year that the Asquith-Jones can use to demonstrate how much taste, sophistication and most importantly money, they have in comparison to the St John-Smythe family. Plus they get to show the St John-Smythe family how to throw a party before the St John Smythes' New Year's Eve party.

So far everything hasn't proceeded exactly as planned. The radio forecast predicted heavy snow and so everyone arrived a day early and had to stay overnight, instead of arriving today. It has thrown Cook into a complete whirl. The heavy snow fell as predicted overnight and it now appears that everyone will need to stay for Christmas as well and this news has thrown the rest of the staff into chaos.

Worse than this however is the fact that Theodore St John Smythe the head of the family had the audacity to be found dead this morning. It's all very inconvenient.

Ho Ho Ho - Remember 'tis the season to be jolly ..........................

Join the Asquith-Jones, the St John-Smythes and their friends for Christmas Eve, it's almost time for the presents!

This is a 15 rated game, costuming for 1930s house strongly encouraged.

Kaye, Heidi

Generally found on the sofa with a laptop into the wee hours, you are addicted to freeforms and board gaming. Having started on a whim as a last-minute player in Home of the Bold at Convulsion in 1992, your obsession has grown and grown. Beginning by playing freeforms at cons and the occasional game of Settlers of Catan at home, you swiftly moved on to writing, running and playing freeforms at every opportunity and owning a large collection of board games, playing them both in real life and online. As Comfy Chair of Peaky Games, you conduct an annual Spanish Inquisition as to who’s working on which freeforms to prepare them for publication, in your mania to spread your passion for freeforming to the whole world.

Your abilities are: existing on little sleep, writing your cats into your games and carrying a big stick.

Your Heart Ability (usable by your True Love) is multi-tasking.

Your goals are: find the six-fingered man who killed your father, the one-armed man who killed your brother's wife and the woman in white who escaped from the asylum. And maybe find some romance on the way....
