Omega Expedition

The Omega Expedition, a purely scientific research mission to Antarctica. You all knew the risks when you signed up, but no-one expects things to go wrong. But it's okay: that's what all the training was for. The "just in cases...", "worst case scenarios..." and "pay attention, this could save your lives..".

And now it has saved your lives. When the storm came in, you all knew what to do. It's all going to be okay. It's just a matter of time, the storm will clear, you'll summon help and that will be that...

Except... What is it that you've found? This could change the future as you know it. This is possibly the greatest discovery of all time. Is it coincidence that disaster struck just before the storm came in? Or are more sinister forces at work?

Now the storm is clearing and it's time to get out of here. Or is it? What the hell happened during the blizzard...?

The Omega Expedition is a nine-player game. Some of you will be members of the five-person missions, the others, well, you'll know when you get your character sheets...

The Omega Expedition is a short, tense game, probably running for two to three hours, although a lot of that's up to the players. There is no guarantee that you'll make it back off the ice, dead or alive.

Information for Players:Costuming won't be a problem. Dress for the cold... C'mon, it's Naish in November, it won't be that hard! Some of you may be asked to dress all in black (t-shirt/sweatshirt/trousers).

When it comes to reading, it's one of my games, so expect nice, long character sheets, although compared to my other games, there's not that much to remember!

There are quite a lot of romantic relationships in this game which drives much of the inter-character dynamic. For example, the leaders of the expedition are a married couple. Not all the characters are romantically involved, but I'd say four of the nine are...

With that in mind, I'm putting an 18+ age limit on the game.

Since I've been asked, I want to stress that while this game is set against the backdrop of a scientific mission to Antarctica, it's not a game about science. If you think that the characters can be saved by some clever scientific trick, then you will be sadly disappointed.

This is a character-based game, revolving around the characters' reactions to the situation they find themselves in. It's all about the roleplaying...

Another year, another Consequences...

This time I'm back again with a new game, "Omega Expedition". I still can't afford the services of AJ as my co-referee (he's playing instead) and my partner-in-crime for the last couple of years, Jeff Diewald, is also playing...

Do you think they are trying to tell me something?
