"Nights through dreams tell the myths forgotten by the day." (C. G. Jung)

Mythic Consequences, November 21–24, 2019, Naish Holiday Village, Christchurch, Dorset
Mythic Consequences starts in 209 days, 15 hours and 52 minutes!

Fallen Stars

Fallen Stars is a game about old things, once beloved by their owners, but now discarded and no longer cared for. As they languish at a flea market, the items dream back to their glory days, and hope to find new lives with new owners. They also worry about the uncertain future of those whom buyers will not rescue.

Players will be asked to bring with them something that might be found at a 2019 flea market, from which they'll build their character. Examples of items include an aged teddy-bear; a Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal; a 1990s slow cooker; a vintage dress; a broken radio; a first edition book.

There will be a fully guided pre-larp workshop, to help people to establish the character of their chosen item, and decide on ways to embody that character in the larp.

The game touches on themes of aging, obsolescence, and death, so there'll also be a post-larp debrief to talk through the players' experiences."

Holkar, Mo

Mo spent twenty years writing freeforms as part of the Epic Experience collective.

Lately he's been writing stuff with other people, including some experimental-style bits and bobs at this Consequences, influenced by Nordic larp and by tabletop storygames. Watch out!

Mo is, thankfully, no longer responsible for maintaining and upgrading the Consequences website and database system.

Tobin, Cat

Cat has been playing games for a while now and sometimes writes them, too. She likes coffee, hates mornings and is not a secret agent.
