Mythic Consequences, November 21–24, 2019, Naish Holiday Village, Christchurch, Dorset
Mythic Consequences starts in 209 days, 15 hours and 53 minutes!
A Mid Winter Fayre in 15th Century England , 1484, the reign of Richard III.
A group of small villages are gathering for the local festival. The Duke allows them to use his grounds twice a year where they meet, trade and dance. The three villages are quite competitive and how well they do affects their status in the region for the next six months.
This is a sandbox style game with opportunities for role-playing, politics, investigation and trade. Players will be given personal goals relating to their own narrative, and also group goals relating to the success of their villages. Typically, players will want to improve their positions, trade goods with their neighbours, find spouses for their children, and secure patronage from the Duke. Some players may also wish to investigate the death of the girl from the previous year, or other mysteries that may be revealed during the course of the game. The game is also an opportunity to explore what life was like in Medieval Britain.

Having attended Consequences for quite a few years now as a player, Matt has gone completely mad and is Assistant/Co-GMing multiple games. At some point he intends to actually play in something, but if all else fails can be found in the boardgames area encouraging yet more gaming.

Vicky loves the opportunity to wear amazing costumes, watch how people interact in difficult situations and in particular play characters that are far away from how she is..... And is always partial to a glass of red wine.
